User Agreement

This User Agreement ("Agreement") applies to your access and interaction with Skillslex.com ("Website", "Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), including all content, tools, and services available through the Website.

By visiting, browsing, or using our Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and decided to follow this Agreement together with our Privacy Policy. If you cannot accept this Agreement, you must refrain from using the Platform.

Skillslex.com delivers a job hub and skill-centered career network that includes these features:

• Job Postings: Showing employment openings from various companies and recruiters
• Skill-Based Pairing: Smart matching of job hunters with relevant roles based on their abilities and credentials
• Career Routes: Information and direction about different professional journeys and industry paths
• Employer Tools: Features for companies to advertise jobs, review applications, and connect with candidates
• Learning Materials: Educational posts, articles, and resources to help develop skills and advance careers
• Networking Space: Helping job seekers and employers connect with each other

We may change, pause, or stop any part of our services at any time without prior notice.

We may disable any user account at our sole discretion, including if we think you have broken this Agreement or if your account has been idle for a long time.

A. Job Seekers

Job seekers using our Platform agree to:

• Share accurate and honest information in profiles and applications
• Check the legitimacy of job ads and employers before applying
• Be careful when sharing personal details
• Do your own research about potential employers
• Never misrepresent your qualifications, background, or skills
• Respect any confidentiality rules set by employers

B. Employers & Recruiters

Employers and recruiters using our Platform agree to:

• Post genuine, current, and lawful job ads
• Give complete and truthful company information
• Follow all relevant employment laws and rules
• Avoid discrimination in hiring practices
• Review applications quickly and professionally
• Keep candidate information confidential
• Never ask job seekers to pay for applications or interviews

Landing a job depends on many things outside our control, such as market trends, employer preferences, your unique qualifications, interview performance, and economic conditions.

The Skillslex.com Platform and all its content, features, and functions are owned by us, our licensors, or other providers, and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws.

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to access and use the Platform for your own personal, non-commercial purposes according to this Agreement.

You may not:

• Copy, alter, or create works based on the Platform
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or take apart any part of the Platform
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other ownership notices
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our express written consent

When you provide content (resumes, profiles, job ads, messages, etc.) to the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, adjust, and display that content in order to operate and deliver our services.

You confirm and promise that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content you provide
• Your content does not break any third-party rights
• Your content follows this Agreement and all relevant laws
• You are responsible for the truthfulness and legality of your content

We may remove any user content that violates this Agreement or that we find inappropriate at our sole discretion.

The Platform may include links to outside websites, services, or resources that we do not own or control. These links are for your convenience only, and we do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for:

• The content, privacy policies, or practices of any external site
• Services provided by outside parties
• Job opportunities posted by outside employers
• Learning resources offered by external providers

You agree that we are not responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or related to your use of any external content, goods, or services.

We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or cancel your account and access to the Platform if we believe you have broken this Agreement or any relevant laws.

Reasons for suspension or cancellation include but are not limited to:

• Violating this User Agreement
• Fraudulent or illegal behavior
• Posting false or misleading information
• Harassing other users
• Trying to compromise platform security
• Extended period of inactivity

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us or using any available account deletion tools. After cancellation, your right to use the Platform ends immediately.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to this Agreement or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, during the past six months.

The Platform is given to you "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties that job openings will lead to employment
• Warranties about the quality or suitability of employers or candidates

You agree to defend, compensate, and hold harmless Skillslex.com, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

• Your access to or use of the Platform
• Your violation of this Agreement
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your user content or communications
• Your interactions with other users

We may change this Agreement at any time. We will tell you about important changes by:

• Posting the updated Agreement on this page with a new "Revised on" date
• Sending notices to registered users when appropriate
• Showing clear alerts on the Platform

Your ongoing use of the Platform after any changes means you accept the new Agreement. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the Platform.

This Agreement shall be governed by general legal principles that would apply even without a specific governing law clause.

Any dispute related to this Agreement or your use of the Platform shall first be discussed in good faith. If that fails, the dispute may go to mediation before arbitration or court action, as suitable under the situation.

We operate globally and respect local laws. Users are responsible for following their own local laws when using our Platform.

• Complete Agreement: This Agreement is the entire understanding between you and Skillslex.com regarding your use of the Platform.
• Severability: If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any part of this Agreement is not a waiver of those rights.
• Assignment: You may not assign this Agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign it without restriction.
• Relationship: This Agreement does not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.
